DON'T MISS THESE! HOLIDAYS IN FRANCE : GITES IN FRANCE : FRANCE CAR HIRE : CHEAP FLIGHTS TO FRANCE

The partys over

It’s been a good few days, with Mrs B’s brother and his family staying, and the sun was shining as well. I haven’t done as much hard labour as I should but hey it was Easter.

You might have noticed that yesterdays blog entry was a sponsored post - perhaps I should explain what that means in case you got all confused. A sponsored post is one that I get paid for, to write a review of a website or company. This is a good thing!

Good for me because I like getting paid, and good for the company involved because they get a review and a link to their site and a bit of publicity, maybe even a booking or two. So everyone is happy.

I did dilly-dally a bit before deciding to do occasional reviews on here but a glance in a drawer full of hole-filled socks reminded me that money is a good thing.

The main attraction of the review for me is that I am allowed to write my own words, and say good things or bad things as I see fit. Contact me if you want details of how to get your own site reviewed and I’ll let you know the details.

Anyway apart from that, and playing football in the sunshine with a couple of small lads, all has been as usual.

The pressure is on to make a few minor repairs around the place since it is only a couple of weeks until the gite season is upon us, so most of the next week will be cement mixers and paintbrushes rather than keyboards and mice.

In fact I’ll probably just stay in the garden until the elections are over and I know what terrible perils the next few years will bring.
