But I suppose without articles and blogs like yours talking about places to see, most travellers will never even know they're there. So balance and careful control of the superlatives when they're not deserved are probably the order of the day! We like proper places, with real life.Some people want it smart and for the tourist. We avoid well known places and look for the unknown towns, They are mostly dissapointing but just now and again you spot something you never forget. All you can do is be honest as you see things. I view reports of towns or accomodation I know, to find out if I agree with the findings so I have an idea of the standard of the writer. I do not think there is.
