Let the train take the strain
No time for a ‘real’ post today but I was wondering what had happened to our missing relatives, en-route here from England via Eurotunnel, so took a quick look on the internet:

The google result for Eurotunnel caught my eye: first item, news about the thousands of people trapped on the trains or in their cars by the weather conditions. Second item…the official eurotunnel site, with the phrase ‘It’s a smooth journey whatever the weather…’
Made me laugh, don’t suppose it made the people stuck on the trains all night laugh quite so much!
Most likely in next car to our second son, wife,a two grand-children.
Should have caught 10-00am train this morning, now coming be P.O. at 08-30 am tomorrow.
Will get refund from Eurotunnel.
Update
P.O. are running, the second son and all have landed.
That’s good to hear.
No one here yet but I think they got through with eurotunnel yesterday – probably stuck in a snowy hotel car park somewhere in northern France.
Second son here now ,after very long and trying day.
Says not the same as in summer, when he normally comes.
good. brother-in-law and family also arrived here safely this afternoon
snow almost all gone after a sunny afternoon
perhaps that’s winter over!
Eurotunnel to start again tomorrow 22/12/2009
Onthe orders of Sarko. (He has spoken)
