Alternatively you could see if the tourist office for the local town has gites listed, to find prices in the exact same place. It is likely that for your first year you would be best to charge a lower, very competitive price, to get people in - hopefully some of these then recommend your gites to others or return themselves the following year. I would guess if I looked back in a crystal ball at us, 6 years ago, I would have my doubts whether it would work out.
