Yesterday I went to buy a new back tyre, I'm hoping that helps. At least punctures only take 5 minutes to mend nowadays - when I was young it would take me half the day wrestling with tyre levers. We eventually discovered that the shop had put tubes that were too narrow into her tyres. A wonderful old man in a bike shop straight out of the 50's sorted us out.
