I told them they had until the end of today to respond otherwise we would take the necessary action. Perhaps they think I'm bluffing...unfortunately I'm the kind of person who will spend 10,000 euros on legal costs to recoup 5000 euros, if it's the right thing to do. Tonight we are seeing some people who have just pursued a similar type legal claim (and won) and will get their avocat details from them. Yes I will keep this story updated! Cheers Hi Jane,

Not surprisingly this causes problems when the weather is sunny and we have people in the gites". This is worrying - don't they know that if theydon't resolve it to your satisfaction, you could also be considering an action against them not just for this, but for potential loss of earnings?
