We also went to see it with some friends and had a great day out - but it was on a flat section and the riders passed very quickly. I'd like to be on a steep section towards the top of Mont Ventoux when the ride passes this year - unlikely in reality though, it's quite a long way from here. And you see a lot more action on the TV! Same here, the scenery is as much a highlight as the race itself. I find it difficult to believe they are not all on some kind of drugs so am unable to trust the results.When we lived near Metz we went to see it and had a great day with some French friends.Its a great pity it has all been devalued.
