About Mr B.
Apparently the ‘About Me’ page is the most popular page on most blogs, so below I’ll give you a couple of clues about us in an attempt to convince you to read the blog.
This website / blog is the story of our lives as an expat family in France. No that sounds too grand. It’s random jottings that often relate to the fact that we live in France.
I’m an expat living in France (with wife, two teenage daugters, a cat and a gite) struggling against the odds to scratch a living from the gite and my fiddlings on the computer. So that’s what I write about, hardly surprising really.
I have the broad intention to provide useful information to others thinking about moving to France or interested in the French lifestyle.
This blog is part of the Visit France Travel Guide site, which I shamelessly plug from time to time. Easy to do of course because it is full of useful information about France. But you already knew that, right?
Since I write about all kinds of trivia, if the first entry you read is of no interest try the next. Then do the same again and again until you reach the end. No it’s OK you can give up after six or seven entries if you think they’re all rubbish. I shamelessly elaborate my little tales to make them more interesting than they really are, so if you find them mind-numbingly boring, think what my life must actually be like.
Last couple of things - don’t forget to bookmark the blog or you’ll never find it again, which would be a tragedy; feel free to recommend the blog to everyone you know, have known, or are yet to come to know; and feel very free to link to us from your own website or blog, since this is another good way for me to get more visitors - you will have my eternal gratitude.
We can be contacted at francethisway@gmail.com with any proposals suggestions or constructive criticisms. I already receive plenty of special offers on male enhancement products and cheap software so you needn’t send them, thank you.
Proposals regarding advertising on francethisway, site reviews, written contributions to the site or blog, and link exchanges, can also be sent to the same email address.
If you would like to be an occasional guest writer / contributor to this blog and you can provide a different perspective on France - either as a visitor or resident - let me know!
You can email us at francethisway@gmail.com
Happy reading, Mr B.
