San Diego Travel Guide
In order to effectively plan any trip the Internet is the first choice. Guides like my France Travel Guide are prevalent for almost any destination and can provide the in-depth look that you need and with some personality too.
One such guide to travel in San Diego, California offering a unique upscale flavored look into America's Finest City's attractions, entertainment and accommodation options.
First things first, where to stay and where to eat. No trip is complete without a comfortable place to rest and unique dining experiences to fill your stomach. A comprehensive list of Hotels in San Diego provided just what I needed to choose; the new San Diego Ivy Hotel seemed like an experience unto itself. While I didn't need their "queen-sized bunk bed" suite or any of the other over the top options, I was thoroughly intrigued by the look of their (anything but) standard suites.
The hotel itself, with its Quarter Kitchen restaurant, seemed to be a great dining option, but I thought I'd like to venture a little further out. Again, a list of top quality restaurants in San Diego is available and after comparing ratings and reviews it was clear that as far as Downtown San Diego's Gaslamp restaurants go (where the Ivy Hotel is located) Morton's Steakhouse and Oceanaire Seafood Room were some of the best to be found.
With that aside, the only thing left is figuring out what to do! The choices easily fall into place when you look at the options:
- San Diego Zoo - It's world famous!
- San Diego Beaches: Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, and Del Mar among the best.
- SeaWorld
- A drive out to Coronado seem well worth the time as the view and the community look astounding.
So, there you have it, a trip to San Diego uncovered!
