Pont-Croix
Pont-Croix is in the Finistère department at the western end of Brittany
Pont-Croix is an attractive small town, near the coast of western Brittany.
The market place and town centre are at the top of the town, next to the Collegiate with its pretty gardens, and there are steep cobbled streets lined with 19th-17th century houses running down the hillside to the Goyen river below.
The river is crossed by a fine bridge, adjacent to an old mill. The lavoirs (ancient wash-houses) can also be seen.
