Ebersmunster travel guide
Ebersmunster is in the Bas-Rhin department of the Alsace region, between Strasbourg and Colmar.
This small traditional Alsace village is known for its impressive abbey church, dating from 1726 and in the baroque style.
Apart from the finely decorated interior - see especially the altar, ceiling and choir stalls - the church also contains a well known organ by Silbermann that has been used in various classical organ recordings and is used in performances organised in the church.
