Beaulieu en Rouergue Abbey is a National Monument of France.
A contemporary art collection set in a Cistercian abbey. The Abbaye de Beaulieu-en-Rouergue was founded in the 12th century and was extended in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was partly demolished after the Revolution but was fortunately saved and restored in the 1960s. The 13th century church, chapter house and cellar form an excellent example of Cistercian architecture. Since 1970, the Abbaye de Beaulieu-en-Rouergue has housed the Contemporary Art Centre with a fine collection and temporary exhibitions.

April 1 to November 1: from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. November 3 to March 31: upon appointment for groups Last admission 45 minutes before closing time.
