Google Maps Help

We have used Google Maps extensively in this site because of their flexibility.

It is worth spending a moment familiarising yourself with them to make the most of the site:

You can:

Zoom in and zoom out using the '+' and '-' controls
Move the map around using the arrows, or by 'grabbing' the map (hold down the left mouse button while you are on the map, and you can slide it to a different location.
Click on the little dot on the middle of any of the 'markers' to find out what is found at that location.
Change views, using Map, Satellite and Hybrid - try this, especially HYBRID!

So, find your location/region, drag it to the middle of the map, focus in on it, and see the nearby sites.

Then switch to 'satellite' or hybrid' and zoom in to see what it is really like.
