WE GET RESULTS! Every day several thousand unique visitors visit France This Way and the gites and holiday rentals section, many of them to make their travel plans, including booking accommodation. We are not talking about ambitious future plans that will never be met, these visitors are already on our site, day and night - in growing numbers. To be as flexible as possible we have various advertising options. All share the same goal - to be the best value possible!

Private listings (i.e. free and paid as below) are listed in search results for your department BEFORE agency listings (eurorelais, hoseasons etc) - so you should still always appear near the top of the results!!

FREE ADVERTISING
For property owners with an existing website
A free listing is available to qualifying properties in France:
- you must have your own property website, with its own domain name.
- You need to add a mention of our site to your own website. Either to the gites section, or to any page on France This Way that will be of interest to your visitors e.g. the France car hire page or perhaps a place near to your rental property.
Restrictions - Footer links, links on 'resource/links pages' and links on pages containing lots of existing links are not accepted for this 'advertising exchange'
- the primary purpose of your site must be the holiday rental activity itself, not an unrelated activity, service, or sales activity, hence sites with excessive affiliate or advertising links will not be accepted unless these relate directly to the holiday rental or travel business
- If you have a gite complex with several properties you wil need to choose which property to submit

Great value, a one year advert costs just £25 / 35 euros.
A small ad listing (like those on all the listing pages) with a couple of paragraphs of text, a small photograph, and a link that sends the visitor directly to your own website

A small ad listing (like those on all the listing pages) with a couple of paragraphs of text, a small photograph, AND a full page advert like this with full details of your property, and an optional link to an availability calendar.

PAY FOR RESULTS
5% of booking value
Prefer to only pay for actual bookings - no problem!
Pay nothing upfront, then pay just 5% of the total cost of each booking that you receive as a result of your listing on our site.
We will create a website page dedicated to your property, using information from your own website or that you provide, plus any other information we think is useful.
Initial queries will be passed to us - we will then contact you to confirm availability, price and any other details requested.
Once the booking is acceptable we will pass your details to the customer who will deal directly with yourselves, and make all payments directly to you. We do not ever receive the customer money.
Within 28 days of the booking being accepted you pay us 5% of the total value of the booking - payment can be made using any valid credit card (or using paypal if you have an account)

LOTS OF LISTING SITES ARE FREE...WHY AREN'T WE?
Our goal is to be the site of choice for anyone planning to visit France, so we need to be able to offer a wide range of properties. To achieve that we keep costs as low as possible - hence only £25 per year.
We wish it could be free to advertise on this site. Creating a listing site is cheap and easy. But creating a site with thousands of targeted visitors each day is much harder. It takes a great deal of time, effort and money to continue to rank well in the search engines and to attract visitors to a website.
We plan to continue to expand. So a 'free listing' site isn't a viable business model for us - or you!
We will continue to have other forms of advertising on the site where appropriate in order that we can keep costs for customers as low as possible.
What Next
Given the current competition in the holiday rental listing business it is unlikely that any single listing site will fill all your vacant weeks for you (not even ours!). Agency listings
We are able to add properties for agents and listing sites who seek the extra visibility that a listing on france this way will achieve. Prices / conditions are as for 'Paid Advertising' (i.e. £25 per property) although a discount may be available if you have more than 20 properties to list.
For bulk submissions we can also accept CSV, excel or XML format.
If you have an existing affiliate or reward scheme we will also be pleased to here from you. We are a registered company (SARL) in France and can issue an invoice on request if needed for tax / accounting purposes.
