Learn slang French

How many times have you watched a French movie and marveled at how eloquently the French actors spoke (not to mention how elegantly dressed the women are?). How often have you wished that you too can speak like them and impress your friends and family with what is deemed as one of the most beautiful languages ever spoke in the world?

Learning French isn't as complicated as you think. In fact, no matter how old you are, there are still fun and exciting elements in the French language that can propel you towards perfect fluency in spoken and written French.

Learning French is not all about grammar and pronunciations. Simply learning some basic French expressions is fun and is a great way to communicate. After all, isn't it crucial to get your meanings across to the party intended every time we speak, be it a foreign or familiar language? That is why when one learns French, it is vital to set your mind to it and stick to the rules. Don’t skip your French classes and be friendly to your classmates and teachers. This will greatly assist you in the path of learning French in no time at all!

In annoying situations, you can make use of these interjections such as “Aie” (“Ouch”), “Ouf” (“Phew”) and “Merde!” (“Damn!”). The latter can also mean something more crass and could be the equivalent of saying “Shit!” in a very exasperated manner. And when you have just finished a particularly hearty meal, it is only polite to say “Miam miam!” (“Yum yum!”) to express delight, and this will result in a very pleased French host!

Otherwise, “Berk” (“Yuck”) is good enough to express that the food you have just ingested is not the most memorably delicious one for you. “Bon!” can act as a transition and connect two different sentences. It means “Right!” or “Well, let us proceed!” in English.
